Georgia Auctioneers Association held it’s annual community fun auction on Saturday, January 26th at Veterans State Park in Cordele, GA. The auction was open to the public and there were great finds and good deals to be had by all. Seven auctioneers, George Franco, JT McWilliams, Sherry Spence, Chad “Cracker” Johnson, Myers Jackon, Wilbur Mull and Amy Martin, competed to take home the Big Peach Classic Championship title. Each demonstrated their abilities and talents by auctioning items offered at the auction. As auctioneerThe person whom the seller engages to direct, conduct, or be responsible for a sale by auction. This person may or may not actually call or cry the auction. contestants took his and her turn each would chant, spot bids and also rotate serving as a ring person. The competition was stiff but ultimately only three names could be determined winners.
